By Patrick Garrigan, Performing Arts Contributing Editor
Amid the hustle and bustle of the busy holiday season, stated Performing Arts Contributing Editor, Patrick Garrigan, was able to catch up with Patti Murin, the title character in The New York Times Critic’s Pick, LYSISTRATA JONES, to find out what it’s like to take center stage in this sexy, hilarious new show. Nestled deep in the wings of Broadway’s Walter Kerr Theater, Patti welcomed stated into her dressing room, where she gave us the inside scoop on everything from what it feels like to don that cheerleading skirt eight times a week to her secret passion for office supplies. …But before she got into all that, this Broadway firecracker kicked off the interview by providing three cheers for stated! Ready? OKAY!
An extra special thanks to Patti for taking the time out of a two-show day to chat with us, and also to Frances White and Todd D’Ambrosio from The Hartman Group for making Patti and the Walter Kerr available to us.
