Jimmy Aquino is the host of COMIC NEWS INSIDER, a popular weekly podcast based in NYC since April 2005 that covers the world of comic books, animation, sci-fi, and pop culture. He’s interviewed some of the biggest names in the biz, including Stan Lee, Steve Rude, Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction, John Cassaday, Paul Pope, Joss Whedon, Rosario Dawson, Michael Emerson, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Tom Kenny, Nathan Fillion, Terrence Mann, the casts of Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Smallville, Pushing Daisies, Lost, Fringe, Torchwood, Spartacus, and more! He made his comic book writing debut in the hit anthology, Fat Chunk: Zombies. A former actor, he’s been seen as “Woof” in the 30th anniversary production of Hair, “Jesus” in Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar, The King and I, Henry V, King Lear, and Turandot. He also wrote and performed with the award-winning sketch comedy group, Home Groan. He’s a big Anglophile, zombie lover, drink slinger, name dropper, watcher of way too much TV/Film, and proud nerd. Paden Fallis is an actor and playwright living in New York. As an actor, his work has been seen at The Pearl Theatre, The Century Theatre, The Players Club, The Kitchen, Stand Up New York, and the People’s Improv Theatre. As a playwright, Paden’s first play, the award-winning The Play About The Coach has played in New York, Philadelphia, Dallas and, this summer, will perform in Washington, DC. His second play, Dark at the End of the Tunnel, was developed in residency with The Field in 2010 and has played in Dallas and New York. Paden’s short story, Don’t Let Them [Bite], was published last year on the website Haggard and Halloo. Paden’s newest short story, 1342 County Road, was part of artist Justin Adian’s exhibition, Come and Take It, at the Blackston Gallery. Paden is a member of SAG/AFTRA and Actors Equity and is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NY. Find him on the web at padenfallis.com. |

David Gallo is a scenic and video designer for stage, commercial, family and children’s entertainment in the US and abroad, as well as creative director for live events. He is based in New York City. David received the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design for his work on The Drowsy Chaperone. He is also the recipient of numerous awards and was selected to represent innovative contemporary American set design in the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum inaugural National Design Triennial. His paintings from A View from the Bridge are part of the Smithsonian Institution collection in Washington, D.C. In addition to his work with stated, he serves on the advisory board of LIVE DESIGN magazine. He was honored to recently serve as Creative Consultant for their First Annual Scenic Master Class. He was profiled in stated in July 2012.

Patrick is Vice President of nontraditional marketing and production company, the michael alan group, and co-author of Guerrilla Marketing for Dummies. He has contributed articles to Event Marketer Magazine and MediaPost, among others. In addition, he has served as a guest lecturer at the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising and the Event Marketer Summit. As a playwright, Patrick’s first piece, Measured, Objective Reporting, was produced as part of Dalliance’s Theater’s sold-out collaborative play, Who is Jordan Bishop? He has served on the editorial staff of TheaterOnline.com and writes a weekly comedy blog, Greatness with Garrigan Gumption. Patrick holds a BFA from Syracuse University, and is a member of Actors Equity Association. He proudly makes his home in Astoria, Queens.

Thomas V. Hartmann is a Philadelphia-based photographer, writer, editor, and educator whose interests include portraiture, fashion, street photography and architectural photography. He has been a contributor to the Photo Review, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Pif magazine, and other publications. His iPhoneography appeared recently in Pixelsatanexhibition.

Ethan Herr is a video editor, instructor, musician, soundtrack guy, and web developer, currently freelancing in some or all of those areas. His skillset ranges from video production, editing, and scoring, to motion graphics and interactive web development. Holding a Masters in Jazz Composition and being an active musician in the NY area adds a unique perspective to his sequential and experiential digital media work.

Daniel Nester is a journalist, essayist, poet, editor, and teacher. His latest book is How to Be Inappropriate, a collection of humorous nonfiction. His first two books, God Save My Queen: A Tribute and God Save My Queen II: The Show Must Go On, are collections on his obsession with the rock band Queen. His work has appeared in a variety of places, such as Salon, The Morning News, The Daily Beast, The Rumpus, Time Out New York, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and the Poetry Foundation website, and anthologized in such collections as The Best American Poetry 2003, The Best Creative Nonfiction, and Third Rail: The Poetry of Rock and Roll. He helps run the website We Who Are About To Die and is an associate professor of English at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY.

Paul Weston is an artist, designer and curator who has shown and published work nationally. His work can be seen in The First edition of David Carson’s End of Print and recently in the book Stuck Up Piece of Crap – From Punk Rock to Contemporary Art. In 2011, Paul, in collaboration with artist DB Burkeman curated Slap Happy (Rizzoli Books), inviting 75 noted visual communicators from around the globe to create a black and white sticker, which was exhibited at Wynwood Walls in Miami during Art Basel. He is also a member of the artists’ collaborative band, Pink Sock.

Mark Wiggin is a Brooklyn-based photographer specializing in sensual and edgy fashion. His work is often playful and his subjects are clearly at ease with his direction. He’s fearless in his technique and the results are often striking and technically masterful.

Indigo | Articles Indigo is an artist, writer, and dancer based in Vancouver, BC. She works in many mediums including stencils, posters, acrylics, oils, photography, and printmaking. Her artwork is an exploration of human emotion, personal story, and the weight of memory. She has worked as a choreographer, performer, and instructor in Canada and the United States, both independently and as a part of multiple companies and collectives. Her visual arts work has been shown at galleries, art festivals, and on the streets of Canada, the United States, the UK, South Africa, and across Europe. |
