I’m proud of most things I do. I rarely watch videos of my work but when I do, I am usually surprised that I had the gumption to do those kinds of things. I don’t know where it comes from to be honest. I just somehow get it done. |

I’d rather keep that to myself. |

My husband Clayton. He is so good at what he does yet he is always trying to challenge himself in new ways. He’s a pro in the business of television but he doesn’t rest on his laurels. He is always looking for new projects, new ways to contribute, new ways to succeed. He’s tireless yet he still finds it in himself to be an amazing family man. I don’t know where I found this fool and how he ended up married to me! |

Rachel Maddow. I just think she’s brilliant. I have had professional crushes in my life on Leslie Stahl and now Rachel Maddow. I think Maddow is the front-runner by a long shot now. She is just so accomplished and well spoken and has a good attitude about herself. She is a lot of who I want to be on camera and off. |

Oh, I think it would be fun to live and work in England for a short time but not permanently. I’m pretty happy where I am. Although someday I do dream of moving my family back to the Bay Area near my family. Oh, to have my mom to babysit for me 24/7! That would be amazing! |

Nothing. I’m asleep by 9pm every night. If there were something I would dwell on, I would do it during daylight hours. At night, I sleep. I’ve always been pretty disciplined by that. |

My son. He gets up right around 6am, which is when I wake up anyway. If you’re asking about inspiration, well the answer is still my son. And my husband. My family is what inspires me but that wasn’t always the case. And I do get nostalgic for a time when I could work tirelessly when there was no family waiting on me. I have a lot of goals that I’ve put on hold or have had to work on more slowly than I would have otherwise because of the family, but I still have a lot of things I want to accomplish in my career before I hang up the towel. |
