SITE OF THE DAY: "The Fox is Black" Slyly Chases Contemporary Life & Culture

The Fox Is Black, formerly Kitsune Noir, is the pet project of Los Angeles-based designer Bobby Solomon. As he shares on his about page, “My friends and family were never as excited as I was about the things I would find so the site has become a way to share these ideas with likeminded people.” It’s continued to grow since its 2007 debut, with contributors covering all things art, design (including a nice collection of downloadable wallpapers), and music. Check out the “Mixtapes” section for gorgeously presented playlists.

SITE OF THE DAY: Navigate the Social Skies with "Flyabit"

Fly a Bit Site of the Day - Stated Magazine

Visitors to Flyabit are greeted with a simple text box inviting them to “choose a destination.” Any combination of words will do. We tried “statedmag.com” out of curiosity and were met with a speedily-rendered grid of images and links surrounding stated’s online activity. Not just our own content, but also others’ links to the site, tweets, maps, photos, and more. We were surprised to see some results we didn’t even know existed.

Try entering your own name for an intriguing snapshot of your digital footprint.
